Step by step

The Path to
A Meaningful Difference

  1. 01

    Patience

We'll take the time to sit with you and your team (in person!), however long it takes, to truly understand how your business operates.

  2. 02

    Organization

You can't fix chaos. First, we'll build whatever is needed to get a clearer picture of the stages of your customer pipeline.

  3. 03

    Identify Bottlenecks

Once we can see things clearer, we'll clearly identify what stage(s) are keeping business from moving forward, and costing the most man-hours, stress, or simply put - what's not working.

  4. 04

    Create The Solution

We'll always try to use your existing systems and tools first, getting them to magically communicate in ways you didn't know was possible.

  5. 05

    Build The Software

When needed, we'll create new software that perfectly integrates the new processes we developed together for your business.

  6. 06

    Measure Closely

Custom dashboards will show us exactly how our new processes are working. You can't understand what you can't measure.

  7. 07

    Repeat

Now with a very clear picture, we'll iterate on what's working, get rid of what's not, and add more of what is until your business mostly operates itself.

Everyone’s path is different.

Your Entire Pipeline,
Working Like Magic.

Your tools and systems,
working together.

The Path is never the same. We don't rinse and repeat.

Project
Overview.

Ox & Pine sells personalized leather goods across a catalog of thousands of products — including pieces at a much higher ticket. When advertising was barely moving the needle, they turned to The Path to rebuild the entire path from first impression to purchase, and to make every dollar of ad spend measurable.

Strategy, analytics, and adsOverview / 01

01The website and funnel

Website, tracking,
video creative,
and a clear path
to purchase.

For a brand selling personalized leather goods, advertising needed to do more than bring visitors to the site. It needed to introduce the products, help shoppers understand their value, and make it easier to move from interest to purchase — especially on higher-ticket pieces.

The Website

The website was improved so paid traffic had a clearer path from first click to purchase. Trust and clarity decide the sale on higher-ticket products, so the experience after the ad had to support the campaigns behind it — not leave shoppers guessing.

02The Google Ads account

A rebuilt account:
shopping to
performance.

We rebuilt it from the ground up with a structured, multi-campaign strategy spanning awareness through purchase — including Shopping and performance campaigns designed to sell the catalog at scale, including higher-ticket products.

From $4,000 to over $1,500,000 in direct sales.

Shopping, seasonal, performance, video, and tracking. Each one lines up with a stage of the buying journey.

1

The Shopping Campaigns

Shopping needed a complete architecture so the catalog — thousands of products — could be sold with clear structure, not guesswork.

2

The Video Ads

Custom video creative captures attention at the top of the funnel and warms audiences before they ever reach a product page.

3

Tied to The Website

Analytics and conversion tracking had to line up with the site so every dollar of ad spend could be tied to real outcomes.

Everything connected.

Website, tracking, video, and Google Ads work as one system — not separate campaigns left to chance.

Over a few short years, the rebuilt account generated over $1.5 million in direct Google Ads revenue. From January 1, 2022 through January 21, 2025, the dashboard reported 33.9 million impressions, 317,000 clicks, a 5.24% conversion rate, and a 3.09× return on ad spend — roughly three dollars back for every dollar spent.

Project
Overview.

Silver Mountain Glass serves customers with custom-glass and auto-glass needs. Behind each inquiry is a job that has to move through the business — with different people responsible for moving it forward. Across a team of 20, knowing where every job stands is essential. They turned to The Path to strengthen how customers request quotes, organize the pipeline, and give the team visibility from start to finish.

Process, brand, and softwareOverview / 01

01The website and brand

Brand, quote paths,
team photography,
and a site built
around the work.

We refined the brand and built a custom website that presents Silver Mountain Glass’s services with confidence — then photographed the entire team, putting the people behind the business at the center of its presence.

The Website

The website gives the company a central place to receive inquiries. Distinct paths for custom-glass and auto-glass quote requests help customers take the right next step, while the visual design stays specific: their mark, their services up front, and a clear way to get a quote.

of the system.

  • Brand refinement
  • Custom website
  • Team photography

The journey from inquiry to finished work

Silver Mountain Glass needed more than a polished site. The purpose of the website is to capture the right quote request — then hand that inquiry into a system the team can actually run.

02The business system

A custom system:
complete pipeline
overhaul.

We worked with the owners to define the stages of the customer pipeline and build a tailored management system on Salesmate, Make.com, and Airtable — connecting incoming leads to the workflows a team of 20 uses every day.

The jobs dashboard for the team.

Five parts
of the system.

Website, Salesmate, Make.com, Airtable, and a dashboard. Each one lines up with a part of how the business runs.

1

Automatic Leads

Leads come from the website and other areas and populate automatically into the pipeline, saving dozens of hours.

2

Pipeline Processes

We helped define a series of processes once we could view the proper data — where jobs were getting stuck, and how to get them moving.

3

Follow-Up & Tracking

You can’t fix what you can’t measure. Once we saw who was under too much stress, or what jobs were getting out of hand, we could tackle it clearly.

Everything connected.

The system combines automation with processes designed specifically for Silver Mountain Glass’s operations.

The Path × Silver Mountain GlassBusiness system / 03

03Visibility and refinement

Training the team.
Measuring
the outcomes.

Once the brand, website, and systems are in place, that’s just the beginning. A clearer picture of the pipeline gives the owners a foundation to review progress, refine what works, and address the next constraint as it becomes visible. It’s an ongoing relationship built around how the business actually runs.

What’s Next? Keep refining the pipeline — review progress, tighten bottlenecks, and improve how jobs move across the team.

01The website and brand

Brand, resources,
recipes, library
of knowledge
and more.

Synergistic Wellness provides a wealth of information, and this required articulating and organizing that information into an exquisite database that could be managed long term — without the need for continuous web support.

The Website

The website contains dozens of resources and categories that are programmatically populated exactly where they need to be. The visual design is consistent and specific: Dalton’s colors and mark, the mission up front, then recipes and the library. Visitors can join the newsletter or contact him about breathwork and events.

A robust app:
courses and
social media.

The app is where members take courses, pay for a program, and use the community. We built it with Dalton. It runs on iPhone and on the web, with the same identity as the site: a dark screen, clear categories, and navigation that stays in place.

James Montgomery

Business Consultant & Software Engineer

Say Hello To James

Hello World!

You have unique processes,
and I will learn them in person.

My name is James Montgomery, and I've directly generated over $2.5 Million for my clients through my business, software and advertising strategies. I grew up in Kamas, Utah and got an early knack for helping small mom & pop businesses with their unique, strange problems, each one different from the last. I've created several different agencies myself throughout the last 15 years all in the realm of technology, web-development, advertising, marketing, software, analytics, and now strategy and consulting.

I've worked with contractors, e-commerce, health spa's, auto sales, night clubs, supply chains - you name it, every business has given me another understanding of the unique approach it takes to keep things not only evergreen, but also peaceful and purposeful, which is why we all created that business in the first place, right?

Most of my clients don't need more business,
they need more time with their loved ones.

I only take on a handful of clients at a time, because it takes a great deal of energy and compassion to do what I do. Getting to know you, your business, and your life-goals is a non-negotioable pre-requisite to being able to help you and your's! Most of my clients don't need more business, they need more time with their loved ones, and better strategy with what they've already got going on.

Problem solving is my specialty, and technology is the catalyst to help you retire. Together, I hope we can build the perfect solution you've been dreaming of - because if we can dream it - I can build it.

A conversation is a good place to start.

Let's just start
with a coffee.
